A career change can be exciting and challenging at the same time, take a look at Mara's story
Mara is a Chicago native and currently lives with her husband in the Lakeview neighborhood.
Mara graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Madison with undergraduate degrees in finance and real estate & urban land economics. She spent her twenties working in real estate private equity, before pivoting and returning to school to pursue a graduate degree in Human Nutrition. Mara is currently in her second year of grad school at the University of Illinois at Chicago, on the path to becoming a registered dietitian. Upon graduation, she plans to open a private practice.
When she's not brushing up on nutrition topics, Mara loves being outside, hiking, running, or cycling. She's an avid traveler (in non-pandemic times) and is gradually developing a knack for interior design.
